Precise finger pressure on the right points, to calm what has already turned into pain. It's the technique I choose when relaxing no longer does the job.

I work with my hands and fingers on points linked to the meridians of traditional Chinese medicine. The pace is slower than a relaxing massage, because the effect of shiatsu comes from how long I stay on each point.
Excellent professional, super attentive, with very light hands, perfect for a relaxing massage. She pressed the key points of my body that were hurting. For me it was wonderful, I left feeling lighter and pain free.
Her hands are so soft, with gentle touches on my body, reaching the tension points and giving me incredible relaxation. After the massage the feeling stays. I felt lighter, calm, wonderful.
Highly recommend, she has a technique that relaxes you deeply, very careful and respectful. Loved it
You tell me where it hurts, how you're sleeping and how stressful the week has been. That conversation decides which points I'll work on.
Tension headaches, a stiff shoulder and insomnia call for different points than anxiety does. I adjust the strength point by point.
At the end I tell you which points were the tightest and what helps keep the relief going until the next session.

It's the technique for when tension has gone past what a regular massage can release and is already getting in the way of your sleep, your mood or your day.
I'd rather tell you this before you pay for a session that won't work for you.
If your question isn't here, send it on WhatsApp and I'll answer before you book.
The pressure is firm and I adjust it with you throughout the whole session. On a very tense point there's usually some discomfort that most people describe as good, like pressing where it hurts. Actual pain isn't part of it, and if it shows up just tell me and I'll ease off right away.
No. Shiatsu is done fully clothed, in light, comfortable clothes, and with no oil at all. The work is pressure with the hands and fingers on points linked to the meridians.
You can have it every week. Apart from the points I avoid during pregnancy, shiatsu has no contraindications of its own. What applies to any massage is that people with thrombosis or a fever shouldn't have any.
Tension headaches are one of the most common complaints I see, the kind that comes back every week with no identified medical cause. The work targets the neck and shoulder tension that is usually behind it. If the pain came on suddenly, is very strong, or came with fever, swelling or tingling, see a doctor first.
Let me know beforehand, because some points are not recommended during pregnancy. With that heads-up I plan the session to avoid them.
I see clients in Batel, Curitiba, at Alameda Pres. Taunay, 423, on Fridays, and in São José dos Pinhais, at Rua Ivani Favarim Criminácio, 1930, Sala 31, Rio Pequeno, every day. At both, book at least 1 day in advance. I also do home visits, for anyone who'd rather have the session at home.
Book at least 1 day in advance, since the schedule fills up fast and same day slots aren’t always open. Send a message now and we’ll lock in your time.
